Planetary war is a large-scale conflict between two planets. Only a planet leader or vice leader can declare war, and the planet must be in RED status. War lasts 48 turns, during which planet status is locked and cannot be changed. Each planet can only be in one war at a time (except Asgard, which can be targeted by multiple planets).
During a war, the leader or vice leader of the attacking planet can conduct operations using military assets donated to the treasury by players on their planet.
| Rule | Details |
|---|---|
| Requirement | Attacker planet must be in RED status |
| Duration | 48 turns |
| Status lock | Planet status cannot be changed during war |
| Limit | One war per planet (Asgard can be targeted by multiple) |
| Who can declare | Planet leader or vice leader |
Any player on the attacking planet can donate probes and battleships to the treasury for use in war operations. Donated ships are removed from your fleet and added to the treasury's military stockpile.
The leader or vice leader can send treasury probes to scan the enemy planet's treasury. Success chance is based on the number of probes sent versus the defender's probe count. A successful scan reveals all enemy treasury resources and battleship counts. Probes are partially lost in the operation — 1% on success, 10% on failure.
The leader or vice leader selects which treasury battleships to send against the enemy planet. Combat uses pure ship stats with no class, planet status, or research modifiers. On success, 10% of each enemy player's credits, metal, power, citizens, and stations are stolen. Resources go to the attacker's treasury, while captured stations are split equally among all players on the attacking planet. Ships take losses in combat (1% on success, 10% on failure), and surviving ships return to the treasury after travel time.
